Plate width (X axis) in base units of 15 mm. One lock pin hole per unit along each edge. · Allowed: 1 – 50

Plate height (Y axis) in base units of 15 mm. · Allowed: 1 – 50

Plate thickness in mm. · Allowed: 2 – 5

Recess on the underside, 2.5 mm wider than the supports on each side and 2.5 mm deep, so connectors sitting on the supports (2 mm walls) fit under the plate. Only applied for thickness 3.5 mm and above and plates of at least 3 x 3 units.

Lock pin holes in the four corner cells too (a corner connector core has no hole underneath, but a plain support has).

1 mm chamfer on the top edges and 0.8 mm chamfer on the hole entries, like the other HomeRacker parts.

Extra plate material beyond the outline of the supports, on every side, in mm. 0 = plate flush with the outer faces of the supports. · Allowed: 0 – 5

Clearance added to the 4 mm lock pin holes. 0 = HomeRacker standard (holes match the pin, no tolerance). · Allowed: 0 – 0.4

Cut a honeycomb of hexagonal holes into the middle of the plate. The pattern always keeps 2.5 mm clear of the recess, whether the recess is cut or not, so the mounting band, the lock pin holes and the edges stay untouched.

Hexagons per 15 mm base unit. 1 = one hexagon per unit, so the honeycomb follows the same 15 mm rhythm as the lock pin holes. · Allowed: 1 – 4

Wall left between two neighbouring hexagons, in mm. Subtracted from the pitch, so it also sets the hexagon size. · Allowed: 0.8 – 6

Turn the honeycomb 90 degrees: hexagons with a flat top and bottom instead of a pointed one.

Let the hexagons at the border be cut off by the border of the free area, so the honeycomb always reaches out to 2.5 mm from the recess. A hexagon is kept when its centre is inside, so the smallest piece is about half a hexagon. Off = only whole hexagons, which leaves a wider and uneven border.
